ASE theft of weapons and ammunition form of its 42 SMG of former Police Constable, GX 7274, Hamad Taimu shillings (25) in the District Court in Rukwa Sumbawanga Mosi postponed to July this year.
Judge of the Court, Enock Sweet potato leaves ordered the defendant be returned to custody until July this year where the court will decide whether the accused should be given bail or not.
The defendant first appeared on May 26 this year where the prosecution was opposed not receive a guarantee to be advised that investigations are still underway where the defense presented in court when an oath of objections.
"The decision about the defendant will be given bail or issued by this Court on July Mosi this year so the defendant will return to custody until that date," he explained in court that Judge Sweet potato leaves.
According to the charges in court documents that the defendant committed the crime on April 4, this year at the Police Station in Namanyere Nkasi district where he allegedly stealing weapons SMG form of a number 21084.
It was claimed in court that between April 04 and May 19 this year the accused stole 42 SMG bullets from the main center of the district police in Namanyere speed.
Before the trial there for the first time, on May 26 this year before the judge Sweet potato leaves, the defendant was arraigned May 22 and sentenced in a military court.
